Cat Eyes: How to acheive this Look!
Retro liquid liner is the rave and it’s all about cat eyes! There are two types of liquid liner that work for this technique. The suggested color is black, but you could go with a charcoal gray too.Type #1: Pen applicator - This is best for a subtle look and hands that are not steady. Clarins makes one like this. Type #2: Classic brush – This is best for a dramatic application. How to Apply#1: Look down at the mirror-this closes the eye some to give you more lid space. It also prevents liner from smearing onto upper lid.#2: Move from outer edge in. This does not sound like the normal way of applying, but it does make the application easier. #3: Thin as you go: Start thick, then narrow the line approximately 2/3 of the way across You may have some smears while learning these techniques. Just put a bit of make-up remover on a Q-Tip to clean up any smears. The cat eye look takes some practice!
